Testimonials
Ashok Hall has been my home away from home for the past seven years, shaping me into a confident, compassionate, and capable leader.
From a shy, sheltered girl to the Head Girl, my journey here has been one of growth, learning, and transformation.
The nurturing environment, dedicated mentors, and enriching experiences at AHGRS truly prepared me for the world beyond.

Being a hallite, I’ve had so many chances to learn and lead. Our school encourages every student to take part and shine.
From studies to sports, dance to debates and music to carpentry-there’s something for everyone.
Being part of all these activities has built my confidence and creativity. I’m proud to be in a school where culture is celebrated every day.

At the age of eleven, I waged a war at home to be sent to a boarding school. I don’t know why I did that, but that was the best decision I made as a child. It defined who I am today. The school was a little world of our own, unadulterated with the baggage of class, caste, religion, etc.
I was quite a rebel in school, sometimes with a cause but mostly without one. But the best part was that I was allowed to be myself. Despite being one of the naughtiest kids in school, I felt safe and accepted even when I was being difficult.
That’s the only place where one did not feel like a misfit, cos there was never a need to conform. I am very grateful to all the teachers and staff for shaping my defining years.

Looking back, my years at Ashok Hall Residential School, Majkhali, were truly transformative. It was more than just academics—it was where I discovered my confidence, independence, and the courage to dream big.
The school fostered lifelong friendships and instilled in me the strength to embrace challenges with a positive mindset. Today, as the co-founder of Natible, I carry that same passion and determination into building a brand that promotes healthy living.
The values I gained—resilience, creativity, and a spirit of exploration—remain at the core of everything I do.

As a mother, I have seen my daughter blossom beautifully over the past three years at Ashok Hall Girls’ Residential School.
The nurturing environment, dedicated faculty, and a strong value system has helped her grow into a confident and responsible young girl. The school not only focused on academics but has shaped her character and transform her into a strong resilient and a charismatic individual.
I truly believe she’s in the right hands.

Sending my daughter all the way from South Goa to a boarding school was a tough decision.
But seeing her blossom in such a nurturing and disciplined environment has reassured me. The school offers the right blend of academics, values, and all-round development.
She has found a second home here, with supportive mentors and like-minded peers.l truly believe this experience will shape her into a strong, confident young woman.

I, along with my wife, had the unique opportunity to visit the Ashoka Hall Girls’ School, Majkhali on 30 Aug 2025.
On entering the premises, the exceptional locale, ambience, cleanliness, order, discipline and the positive vibes take your breath away! The grandeur of the sprawling premises reminds one of a British time residential school !
We were not only fortunate to have witnessed an elocution competition, but were also privileged to ‘judge’ one of its events. The elocution standards of students of both the junior and senior wings were unbelievingly outstanding, which was a testimony to the extra-curricular talent of students, so meticulously groomed by the able teachers.
We also had a tasty lunch in the common dining hall along with the students and staff, which in itself was a pleasant experience.
Our tour was concluded with a visit to the library. I have no hesitation in saying that it is the best school library I have ever seen. It boasts of more than 30,000 books on every subject possible, which is an unparalleled asset for any school.
Having been at the school for about half a day, and seen most of its assets and activities, I don’t think I can appreciate the Management enough, for the hard work that’s been put up.
I particularly appreciate the Principal sir, Mr Hemant Rai, for his tireless pursuits to constantly uplift the standards of this beautiful school. The laurels achieved by the school in the recent past under his spectacular leadership are absolutely commendable.
My best wishes to the staff and students of the school for all future endeavours.

“The spirit of celebration and togetherness is a great source of Inspiration”.
At the very outset, I would like to extend my heartiest thanks to you for having invited me as the Chief Guest for your Annual Day Celebration “CONFLUENCE”. It gave immense joy to come over to this prestigious institution. Ashok Hall Girls’ Residential School has always been a pioneer institution in training young girls in the field of education and sports. It has expanded the boundaries of interactive engagement with the society.
As soon as I entered the school, I felt as surge of happiness and excitement in me. The infrastructure and the location of the school provides a sense of unison with nature and harmony with oneself. The school works on the ethos of tradition coupled with providing students wth a cosmopolitan approach. The Annual Function was nothing short of an exemplary depiction of unwavering dedication, teamwork and leadership. The Dance Drama performed on River Ganga was an urgent reminder to each and every one of us to save our ecosystem. The Annual Function reinstated the faith in our cultural heritage.
I would like to thank the Chairman Shri Dalmia Ji, the Principal and the institution for their geniality and hospitality. It was by far one of the best experiences of my life getting to interact with the new generation.
